I do a monthly card swap with my team members with a different theme each month. This card was done for a recent swap we had and the theme was birthday cards. I was down to the last minute to get these done and I had just received my awesome Stampin' Success in the mail from Stampin' Up! Flipping through the pages I saw the contest winners and fell in love with Kathryn Whittaker's entry. She made her card into a Thank You Card but I easily converted it into a Happy Birthday Card and changed up the colors using my Color Coach.
For my card I used Crumb Cake, Summer Starfruit, Real Red, Marina Mist & Whisper White Card Stock, Summer Starfruit 3/8" Stitched Satin Ribbon, Occasions Alphabet & Made for You Stamp Sets, Rhinestone Basic Jewels, Decorative Label, Itty Bitty Shapes Punch Pack & Large Oval Punches and my Big Shot with the Perfect Polka Dots Embossing Folder.
I just love combining different punches to create a cute focal point on your project.
I just love seeing others creations, changing them up a bit and ending up with a beautiful piece of artwork!! CASing is awesome and I love it!! Coping And Sharing with Everyone!! Thanks to Kathryn for a beautiful piece of artwork that led to my beautiful card!!
